Nathan Webb is a 2017 C/3B, RHP with a 5-11 186 lb. frame from Moreno Valley, CA who attends Riverside Poly. Medium-large frame with strong present build and very good overall physicality. Hits from squared stance with short, quick stroke and good strength off the barrel. Mid-field approach, ball carries well off barrel with projectable power. Impressive defensively, showed very quick feet with smooth transfer and strong arm, throwing 82 MPH from behind the plate and popping 1.89 seconds. Highly projectable athlete and defender behind the plate. Showed well in the infield as well, good hands and smooth actions with projection for 3B. Very strong arm, throwing 88 MPH accurately across the infield. Pitched as well, showed 3/4 arm slot and a fastball working in the 78-82 range touching 84. Good life on FB, very good feel for sinking changeup in high 60's. Showed solid 11/5 CB with shape and depth. Ran well, posting a 7.13 60 yard dash time. Named to 2015 Sunshine West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
