Josh Medina is a 2018 OF/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Charlotte, NC who attends Ardrey Kell HS. Slender young build, plenty of time and room to get stronger. Left handed hitter, spread stance, quiet load, short line drive swing, hits to all fields, should continue to improve with additional strength. 7.68 runner, has sound fundamental footwork in the outfield, compact arm action with developing arm strength. Also pitched, same compact arm action, drive and drive mechanics to the plate, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 71 mph, keeps the ball down in the zone well and gets occasional cutting action. Slurve type breaking ball with occasional 11/5 depth. Good student.
