Adrian Hernandez is a 2017 C/3B with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Peachtree Ridge High School. Smaller frame, compact, mature build with present strength. Primary catcher, side saddle start, developing transfer skills, received the ball cleanly, and showed accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, started with an even stance, wide base, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Torques hips well and completes lower half shift. Consistent barrel ability with loud contact. Line drive swing with an approach that worked gap-to-gap on a line. Impressive offensive prospect.
