Kyle Iarrobino is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Key West, FL who attends Key West HS. Big and tall build with good present strength, fairly mature physically. Simple turn and throw delivery, high leg raise start with good balance over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot with a full arm action in back, low effort release out front, will occasionally fall off to the first base side. Consistent mid-80's fastball, topped out at 87 mph, has short running life at times, commands his fastball well and it gets on hitters quickly. Tends to slow arm on his curveball and lower his release slot, tips the pitch to aware hitters, creates some sweeping depth and lands the pitch for strikes. Improvement in his breaking ball will be key in his development. Left handed hitter, hits from a very wide base with a drift into contact, long and loose swing and has barrel skills, squared up the ball consistently and used his strength to impact it hard, has some hitting skills. Very good student.
