Jacob Mora is a 2017 SS/RHP with a 5-11 138 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends La Serna HS. Large frame, long thin build with room to fill, athletic actions and body projects well with strength gains. Solid two-way ability, more advanced as a position player at present but showed intriguing potential on the mound as well. Line drive swing plane with loose swing actions and good extension through contact with good hand-eye coordination, used the whole field well. Loose easy arm action in the infield and on the mound, smooth defensive actions. Fastball up to 85 mph from a three quarters arm slot with a compact arm action and good arm speed. 12-6 break on curveball with hard spin, potential out pitch with further development, threw strikes. Named to the California Underclass Showcase Top Prospect Team.
