Mitchell Sharkey is a 2019 OF/2B with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends Prosper HS. Has a medium build, high waist, long limbs, will continue to fill out as puts on additional muscle and matures physically. Posted a 7.62 second sixty yard dash. From the outfield, showed solid footwork and clean actions into accurate throws. From the infield, does a nice job with his footwork putting himself in a good position to throw the baseball, throws have good carry. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with an upright, simple stance. Stays on a level plane with his bat path, solid weight shift with lower half, and repeatably uses a middle to pull side approach. Excellent student.
