Zane Guess is a 2019 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Soddy Daisy, TN who attends Soddy Daisy HS. Strong and thick build with good present strength. High leg lift delivery, loose arm action with some whip coming through, extended 3/4's arm slot, pretty low effort release. Fastball topped at 79 mph, worked the corners well with his fastball, hitters don't seem to see his fastball well and the velocity plays up. Change up was a good pitch with good arm speed and some feel. Tends to slow arm on his curveball, short soft break to it. Throws strikes and works quickly. Corner infield actions on defense, has good hands and makes plays cleanly. Right handed hitter, rotational upper half swing, long and loose swing, swings hard and can put a charge into his pitch. Good student.
