Jimmy McClenaghan is a 2017 OF/SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Modesto, CA who attends Joseph A. Gregori High School. Lean, athletic build with room in his frame to add strength and continue to develop. Posted a 7.05 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, worked well through the ball with accelerated actions with good arm strength up to 89 mph. At the plate, started with a wide, open base with a high hand set away from his body. Inside hand path with a shift and lift approach into contact. Inconsistent timing, but with improved lower half contact would see more consistent results. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
