Jacob Navejas is a 2018 C/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Elgin, TX who attends Elgin HS. Has a good frame and an athletic build. Posted a 7.19 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, starts in a low, flexible setup with quickness in footwork. From the infield, showd good actions and fields the ball out front with soft hands. Made strong, accurate throws across the infield, with a quick arm action. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a wide, open stance, high back elbow, and a leg lift trigger. Has a loose swing with good bat speed, flashes pop off the barrel. Projects to use a gap to gap approach and has the quickness in his hands to continue to improve. Excellent student.
