Carson Harris is a 2020 OF/RHP, MIF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Waxhaw, NC who attends Marvin Ridge HS. Recorded a 7.42 second 60-yard dash time. Lean build with a lanky frame that includes a high waist and long limbs, all positive projection indicators for future strength. Primary outfielder with a long arm stroke through the back that culminates in an extended release. Large crow hop through the lower half that allows for positive momentum development. Present arm strength recorded up to 79 mph into the infield. Righthanded hitter with a medium hand set and a small stride into contact. Hands work well and move naturally into the swing with requisite looseness. Overstrides at times but has good balance throughout with some contact skills. Good student.
