Andrew Keller is a 2022 2B/SS/OF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Allentown, PA who attends Parkland. Smaller young athletic build. Good runner, 4.89 in the forty, has ran 7.08 in the sixty at a previous PG showcase. Fundamentally sound defensive player in his footwork and hands, fields the ball cleanly out front and works into his throws, two-part arm action with a high release and developing arm strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread open stance with a rock back load, arm driven swing with a nice direct path to the ball, showed good barrel to ball skills and some quickness to his hands getting the bat going, has some projection as a hitter with additional strength. Key to improving overall will be continued adjustments and development of his arm stroke and arm strength. Excellent student.
