Nicholas Stinson is a 2023 1B/RHP, 3B, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends North Cobb Christian School. Primary right-handed pitcher with a tall slender frame and plenty of room to fill. Staggered feet start from the first base side of the rubber, side-step to compress the slab with a quick leg lift to waist. Ran the fastball up to 88 mph with a long arm swing behind to a higher slot that creates good spin-rate up in the zone. Featured a breaking ball with varying depths when he got to his release point out front from his longer arm swing. Good athlete on the mound with the ability to field the position with a feel for the glove which translates to other spots around the infield. Secondary first base position with solid footwork around the bag with accurate throws at 80 mph. Quicker footwork and momentum on throws from third base across the diamond at 82 mph. Projectable frame athlete with arm strength and actions to play multiple positions which carry over to the mound. Left-handed hitter with a wider base and some hand-speed through the zone. Drags the front foot back as a trigger to launch the hands from the backside with an uphill path. Hands get through the zone with some pull side impact. Recorded a 7.25 second 60-yard dash time. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 Southeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
