Dalton Redmond is a 2025 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Rincon, GA who attends South Effingham. Athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 6.97 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has very athletic actions and can play on the move, accurate arm with plenty of carry, really charges the ball well, has a quick release, stood out in the games defensively. Also worked out in the outfield and the athleticism is obvious there as well. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow slightly open stance, hands start tight and gets good extension out front, has present bat speed and some pull pop, not a classic swing but the athleticism makes it work. Also pitched, has a short and quick arm action that is deceptive for hitters, ball jumps on them late, only threw fastballs, topped out at 84 mph. Excellent student. Named to the Fall Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
