Ayden Farrow is a 2023 2B/RHP, IF, OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Maynard H. Jackson Jr. He ran a 7.33 second sixty. A primary second baseman with a young lean build. On the infield he he showed some feel for the glove out front with two hands, he did a nice job getting around the baseball and getting rid of it with average carry on his throws. In the outfield he works to the baseball with a controlled approach, takes a long gather with a shuffle into his throws showing average arm strength and carry when he gets on top of the baseball. On the mound he take s a big side step into a higher leg lift with good pace to the delivery, the arm works full through the back stroke up to a high three-quarters arm slot, the fastball showed some sinking action in the 75-77 mph range with the ability to get in on the hands of right-handed hitters, he mixed in a changeup as a secondary offering in the mid 60's. Right-handed hitter, starts balanced with a high hand set, he does a nice job getting the hands loaded and creating separation pre-swing, he showed some whip in the wrist at the point of contact and feel for the barrel with developing strength. Very good student.
