Justin Cardona is a 2018 2B/OF, C with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Kennesaw, GA who attends Kennesaw Mountain High School. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, takes short steps moving towards the ball, shows good energy and does a nice job of working and gathering behind the ball, double tap release, shows effort at release but gets on top and has accuracy to throws across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set in the box, upper body dominant swing, uses a toe tap trigger at start of swing. Loads hands back at start of swing, does a nice job of getting on plane and stays compact with swing, contact approach with a linear swing path, consistent contact to the middle and pull side parts of the field. Very good student.
