Corbin Morrison is a 2020 LHP/OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Ooltewah, TN who attends IMG Academy. Extra-large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher, nice tempo and pace to delivery, short rock step moving into a leg lift up above belt; full and loose arm stroke through the back side working to an extended three-quarters release point. Does a nice job of staying on time at release, arm slot helps generate running life on fastball, topped out at 85 mph and projects for more. Locates fastball well and can work to either side of plate, can incorporate additional lower half into drive down the mound. Slows tempo and arm speed at release on curveball, up to 65 mph but shows 12-6 shape with depth; flashed a slider for strikes and able to generate swings and misses, up to 74 mph. Excellent student.
