Sebastian Rutledge is a 2022 OF/1B, LHP with a 5-10 120 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Medium and young frame with lots of room to fill and plenty of time to do so. Ran a 7.13 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate actions working to the baseball, releases the baseball from a low arm slot, developing arm strength, will improve arm strength with refinement to front side usage at release. Secondary first baseman, has some athleticism off of the bag moving to the baseball quickly, short arm action into throws. Also pitched, works exclusively from the stretch with a low effort delivery, long arm action up to a ¾ arm slot, stays online down the mound landing with short stride, filled up the zone in his inning with a fastball up to 68 mph and a 12-to-6 curveball. Lefthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a wide base and a high hand set, double toe tap trigger with an arm bar at load, upper half dominant swing with some explosiveness, developing bat speed produced line drive contact to the pull side.
