Jake Henley is a 2018 C with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Cypress, TX who attends Cypress Woods HS. Solid athletic build with good present strength. 7.57 runner, tall set up behind the plate, has a short and compact arm action and a quick release, some arm strength with carry on his throws. Right handed hitter, big leg raise load with a barrel wrap start, timing intensive swing but has some balance and rhythm to it, gets off his back side well and swings aggressively, has lift in his swing with some bat speed and ability to drive the ball. Good student.
