Braeden Brown is a 2023 RHP/MIF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Sinton, TX who attends Sinton. Young, projectable build with square shoulders and a lean build, will continue to develop physically and fill out with strength. Ran a 8.62 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, full hand path through delivery in sync with higher leg lift up past belt, gathers well on backside before a short stride down the mound. Short and compact arm action through the back, works to a three-quarters release point, can continue to incorporate additional lower half but worked on top of the ball well and filled the zone. Fastball topped out at 67 mph, flashed cut action to glove side and occasional sink down in the zone, pitched to contact and able to induce early in the count. Flashed curveball up to 67 mph, occasionally around the pitch at release. Moves well on feet in the infield, fields the ball out front and funnels into a short arm action, accurate across, arm strength will continue to develop. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Employs a contact oriented approach, looks to his the ball out front. Occasionally gets to front side early, shows a handle for the barrel and worked all fields. Excellent student.
