Charlie Jones is a 2022 1B/3B with a 6-3 208 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends Kings Ridge Christian. Extra large and physical frame. Ran a 7.02 second 60 yard dash. Primary first baseman, worked out at the position staying through the baseball, actions that play at either corner position, arm strength in the infield shows good carry up to 84 mph across the diamond, moves well in the dirt. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with an open stance, downhill swing plane with rotational actions, stays compact to the baseball and shows real power to his swing, pull power approach with obvious strength, has a nice bat speed and strength combination that produced a home run in BP.
