Jaylen Morgan is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Dacula, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Medium and lean frame with long limbs. Ran a 6.86 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the baseball well and fields the ball out in front, full arm action throws with good carry and average arm strength, topped out at 83 mph from the outfield. Secondary left-handed pitcher, graded out best on the mound, high energy delivery that starts with a rocker step up to a high leg lift, land hand break into a full arm action up to high three-quarters arm slot, creates good extension with effort to his operation, fastball topped out at 85 mph with armside run often, good feel for his offspeed with a 12-6 curveball and late fading changeup, promising three pitch mixture. Left-handed hitter, spread out stance, leg lift trigger into his stride, swings with intent and gets the bat head out in front, very quick hands and the ball jumps when on time, promising hitter with refined consistency of barrel ability.
