Vincent Donovan is a 2017 OF/UT with a 5-8 155 lb. frame from Centennial, CO who attends Eaglecrest HS. Smaller frame with a compact, athletic build. Body projects for additional strength. Right handed hitter with an open stance and deep hand load. Launches to contact with a simple, compact line drive swing plane. Shows good feel with barrel skills while working the middle of the field. Repeats mechanics well, consistently squaring up contact. Worked out defensively from the outfield showing a lower elbow slot at release with smooth tempo through transition. Tracks the baseball well off the bat, rounds baseball well while setting up into throws creating solid momentum through the baseball.
