Nico Frelick is a 2017 C/ with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Lexington, MA who attends Lexington. Medium frame with athletic present build; good room to fill out physically remaining on frame. Posted a 7.15 seconds 60 yard dash time. Hits with narrow base and leg lift timing mechanism, shifts weight well into contact, shows line drive swing plane with solid barrel control, simple line drive approach to hitting, uses whole field well and stays committed to going back up the middle. Made consistent line drive contact and was able to spray line drives to all fields. Shows good, athletic crouch when catching with solid flexibility and balance. Comes out of crouch well and exchanges ball from glove to hand cleanly; made consistently accurate throws down to 2nd base with pop time as low as 2.08 seconds and velocity up to 70 MPH. Very good student.
