Cameron Paradise is a 2017 C/3B/1B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Graniteville, SC who attends Midland Valley HS. Thick and strong build, fairly mature physically. Right handed hitter, deep hand load with a slightly open stance, back side hitter with an uphill swing plane, tends to open his front side early, looking to pull and lift the ball, has good strength in his swing and can create some carry when squared, pull to mid field contact. 7.31 runner, has good footwork behind the plate and is pretty light on his feet, gains ground well throwing, has some arm strength with a long release, makes accurate throws. Solid overall athlete with some strength who will need to shorten his actions for the next level. Excellent student.
