Michael Delpome is a 2024 RHP/1B/3B with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Emerson, NJ who attends Bergen Catholic. Delpome works from a broad build with plenty of strength present in the lower half. As a primary RHP, he worked exclusively from the stretch with simple actions and a higher 3/4 slot to pound the zone and record outs. He flashed occasional cut to the FB up to 76 mph (1800 rpm) while sequencing an 11-5 shaped curve with horizontal tilt to it. Delpome wasn't afraid to challenge hitters in the upper part of the zone with tools to build on in the future. From the IF, he produced accurate throws across the diamond with cleaner glove actions up to 74 mph. Offensively, the righty used a lower hand set and open stance with a toe tap trigger to generate contact to all parts of the field. Expect power potential to become more prominent in the future. Ran a 7.87 sixty yard dash.
