Tyler Wells is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Shamong, NJ who attends Seneca. Tall and projectable frame with long limbs and room to fill. Ran a 5.34 second 60 yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, begins his delivery with a side step up to a high leg kick, sits on his back leg at balance point driving off of the rubber down the mound, takes his arm back to a compact arm action up to a 3/4 arm slot, present tempo in his delivery with mostly raw mechanics. Fastball topped out at 76 mph with life to armside, mixed in a three pitch mix that included a sinking changeup and a short-breaking 11-5 curveball. Secondary outfielder, sits back on the baseball with a long release, compact arm slot at release topping out at 79 mph from the outfield. Lefthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance, utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing, hands pump at load, rotational actions to swing with young barrel feel, flashed some strength off of the barrel when on time.
