Thomas Latham is a 2020 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Fairfax, VA who attends Chantilly HS. Recorded a 5.19 second 40-yard dash time. Medium frame with good athleticism and lots of room to fill out. Primary shortstop with short, sure steps and follows through on throws well. Arm strength plays well with throws up to 80 mph. Extended release and can throw well while maintaining balance on the run. Arm strength played well from the secondary position of the outfield. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and finishes very low with the swing. Inside hand path with quick hands and a balanced swing. Upright and has an inconsistent shift but clear strength off the barrel and feel for the barrel. Good student.
