Jacob Strickland is a 2017 SS/RHP/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Grand Junction, CO who attends Central HS. Lean athletic build. 7.00 runner, straight up player on defense, low release on his throws, looks most comfortable charging the ball, second base actions and tools. Right handed hitter, raises up through contact, upper half rotational arm swing, gets the barrel out and looks to pull the ball. Also pitched, fast paced leg lift delivery, gets his back turned, compact 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, curveball has some spin and depth, also threw a change up. Good student.
