Zane Sloan is a 2018 MIF/OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Rocwall, TX who attends Rockwall HS. medium frame, slender build with room to get strong as he matures. Fluid actions on the infield with good range to his left and right. Athletic player that can throw well on the run. Profiles well in the middle infield, particularly second base. At the plate, starts with a high hand set, high back elbow, and a wide open stance. Displayed good barrel control with a middle of the field approach. Power should develop more as he continues to put on additional strength. Disciplined approach but will take an aggressive swing if he likes the pitch. Excellent student.
