Grant Devillier is a 2016 OF/IF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Winnie, TX. Slender young medium build, plenty of room to get stronger. 6.96 runner, has good speed in the outfield and a quick first step on the bases. Over the top throwing action from a compact release, throws have some carry when working though the ball. Right handed hitter, patient hitter will will take pitches, long swing with an uppercut swing plate, bat doesn't spend much time in the hitting zone and is frequently working from underneath the ball, flashes some bat speed and will improve immediately with a more level swing plane. Hard worker who likes to play. Very good student.
