Nick Tripp is a 2018 3B/OF with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Saint Johns, FL who attends Creekside HS. Tall, lean, athletic build with room to fill and physically mature also runs well but can still improve. Corner infield and corner outfield profile. On the infield we works around the ball, takes his time setting his feet, threw with accuracy and arm strength. Controlled his body well when throwing on the run. In the outfield he uses his legs well with a pro shuffle, has a quick transition, throws with slight run but adjusts for it, threw online and carry to the bag. At the plate he has square stance, gathers to the rear leg, strides forwarding creating separation. Lands in a torqued position, uses his lower half really well, generates good bat speed. Shows power, finishes with extension and good feel for solid contact. Great student.
