2015 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event
Jaden Huber is a 2017 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Union Grove HS. Huber has a lean build with room to fill out, long limbs and young look over all. Hits from a slightly open stance, short inside bat path, gets barrel to ball consistently. Line drive swing plane with good balance. Mostly pull side contact but shows ability to go other way, flashed power potential with 2B in game showing quick hands. Defensively, Showed good arm strength across the diamond with carry out of hands Actions are developing with good footwork, fields ball out front and gets to good position to throw. Also pitched. Short rocker step with a high leg kick. Delivery is tight and compact with good balance through out. Good direction to plate staying tall on backside. Uses lower half well. Throws from high 3/4 slot, mixes pitches well including ability to pitch backwards. Curveball had 10/5 sweeping action with depth. Maintained arm speed on change up with fading action and depth. Should continue to develop change up and utlize more. Outstanding Student.
