Zane Bandfield is a 2019 C/3B, OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Forney, TX who attends North Forney High School. Young player with a medium build, athletic frame, square shoulders, and room to continue to fill out physically. Posted a 7.78 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle start, showed a quick transfer and showed good accuracy to the bag. Top pop time of 2.00 in workouts. At the plate, started with a very wide base, high hand set, high back elbow, with a leg lift timing mechanism. Short, compact swing through the zone with torque through his trunk and showed line drive contact to the middle of the field. Flashed carry off the barrel with developing timing and will continue to improve with additional lower half incorporated into his swing. Good student.
