Spencer is a 5-11, 170 lb. 2006 left handed hitting middle infielder from California with a wirey frame. Spencer has an athletic body with sloped shoulders and room to fill out. Defensively, Spencer throws with a compact arm action with a nice quick release. He is a good defensive player and showed solid body control. Spencer makes good accurate throws and can make the off balance play. Spencer starts with an open stance and has a wide base at the plate. Spencer has a nice quick swing and showed good ability to hit to all fields. Spencer has a nice line drive swing path with some power with the bat.
