Parker Landwehr is a 2019 C/OF with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Baltimore, MD who attends Calvert Hall College. Big build with present strength in frame especially in the lower half. Ran a 4.92 second 40 yard dash. Primary catcher, side saddle with a low set position and good flexibility, gets tall out of crouch, solid ground gain to base but could get more from lower half, accurate throws to the bag with solid arm strength, 1.89 second best pop time. Also took reps in the outfield, remains tall at gather slowing to the ball, could gain better momentum but still has solid arm strength, full arm action with accurate throws. Righthanded hitter, slightly open stance getting closed at load, strength to swing with hard jump off of the barrel when squared, long inside hand path to ball with natural lift, loud contact during round especially to pull side. Excellent student. Named to 2018 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List. Verbal commitment to Boston College.
