Kyle York is a 2019 RHP/1B with a 6-2 188 lb. frame from Sautee Nacoochee, GA who attends Gainesville HS. Strong athletic build with broad shoulders. Works from the stretch, stays tall over the rubber at his balance point, good line to the plate, quick and tight arm circle is on time, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, has good command of the pitch and can work it to both sides of the plate, good arm side running action at times. Low 70's curveball has tight spin and good sweeping depth, maintains his arm speed well on his curveball and throws it for strikes as well. Did not see a change up but should be able to throw a good one. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a limited lower half shift to contact, gets the barrel out early and uses his strength to generate some bat speed, keeps it simple and on time and handles the barrel. Good student.
