Adam Zakaria is a 2019 MIF/OF with a 5-8 142 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, NJ who attends Lawrence High School. Young, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill with added strength moving forward. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front and funnels well, shows looseness to arm action with a lower slot, can throw from multiple release points, arm strength and carry will continue to develop with physical strength. Lefthanded hitter, begins with an upright stance, high hand set and a high back elbow in the box. Shows a feel for the barrel with a line drive swing plane, occasionally strides early but shows a nice shift into contact. Sound hand path to the ball, creates contact to pull side and shows a short swing path with ability to repeat mechanics. Projects nicely moving forward. Very good student.
