Reed Harrington is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Westwood High School. Medium build and frame, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted an impressive 6.90 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fielded close to body, short arm action, clean transfer skills, and made accurate throws to the bag. At the plate, started with a narrow base, tall stance, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Swing works long through the zone and works with a power approach. Showed very fluid in game with best contact coming to the pull side gap. Improved with round and showed ability to drive and generate carry. Exceptional student.
