Chris Symington is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Ridgewood, NJ who attends Ridgewood High School. Medium build with an athletic, lean frame and room to continue to develop physically. Posted an impressive 6.63 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fielded out in front with a quick transfer into a short arm action. Good footwork with accurate throws across the diamond and developing arm strength. At the plate, started with a wide base, high hand set, high back elbow and a small leg lift timing mechanism. Line drive swing plane with an inside hand path that gets to all fields. Made solid contact pull side and up the middle with raw timing and barrel feel.
