Joseph Buccafusca is a 2017 OF/ with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from New Rochelle, NY who attends New Rochelle. Medium, athletic frame with good strength throughout body and solid projection remaining. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.82 seconds. Hits from slightly crouched, tightly-wound stance, coils front hip back into load, swing gets a bit elongated but shows bat speed and balance throughout. Good strength off the barrel at contact, really brings lower half well, shows gap power to all fields. Worked out defensively in the outfield. Takes short, choppy steps to the ball and remains balanced, fields cleanly out in front and works through it some over the front side. Full arm action with good, extended release, lower slot throws, shows solid arm strength with outfield velocity topping out at 75 MPH.
