Haidyn Winther is a 2018 OF/ with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Studio City, CA who attends Notre Dame. Medium, athletic frame with lean present build and excellent physical projection remaining on body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.37 seconds. Hits from upright, open stance with solid balance through swing. Clean hand and bat path with solid bat speed, shows good ability to maintain line drive swing plane through contact with solid jump off the barrel to all fields. Highly aggressive on base paths, accomplished base stealer that increases offensive profile. Worked out defensively in the outfield, attacks the ball aggressively and moves well to the ball with good footwork and overall quickness. Fields cleanly and transfers well through fielding, has athleticism in actions, shows solid arm strength with OF velocity up to 79 MPH. Very good student.
