Kristian Amaro is a 2020 C/2B with a 5-9 180 lb. frame from Hilliard, OH who attends Hilliard Darby HS. Medium Frame with some strength present. Ran a 7.70 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, sets up in an even crouched start, comes out of his crouch with quick feet and a quick transfer, long arm circle into throws, gains some ground to his target, average arm strength and carry down to second base, 2.21 second best pop time. Secondary second baseman, took infield reps with mostly deliberate actions, clean funnel into body and a glove pump at release, effort to actions with average arm strength. Switch hitter, takes a small step into contact from the right side, long hand path with full intent to drive, present bat speed and pop when squared, graded out slightly better from the left side, more spread out stance with a similar approach, more consistent barrel ability from the left side, legitimate tools to work with on both sides of the plate. Outstanding student.
