AJ Wilson is a 2019 LHP/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Pilot Mountain, NC who attends East Surry HS. Well proportioned build with good present strength. Medium effort delivery a big back turn and extended 3/4's arm slot, almost mid 3/4's at times, will get over rotated at times and lose balance and direction. Fastball topped out at 91 mph early, gets good sinking life. Soft slider is used well against left handers. Key will be maintaining consistency in his direction and delivery to release. Good student, verbal commitment to East Carolina.
