Charles "Taylor" Hanover is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Grimsley. Medium frame with athletic, slender present build and good room to fill out. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.80 seconds. Hits with rotational swing, line drive swing plane, will cut swing off at times and become pull-oriented, shows good hands to and through zone, did good job of making consistent contact. Worked out both in OF and IF. Gets to the ball well in the OF, fields ball well and gets into good throwing position, OF velocity up to 74 MPH. Fields cleanly in the IF, gets through the ball well into crow hop, made consistently accurate throws across up to 69 MPH. Pitched as well, showing good deception in delivery with some herky-jerky movement and hitter-disrupting hesitation, FB worked 67-70 and topped at 72, gets up to high 3/4 slot, did good job throwing strikes.
