Kendale Utter is a 2019 3B/IF, OF with a 6-0 166 lb. frame from Roebuck, SC who attends Dorman HS. Recorded a 7.00 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and athletic build with long limbs, a high waist, and lots of present room to add strength and physicality. Primary first baseman with deliberate actions and waits on the ball. Fields out in front well with an accurate arm across the diamond. Currently developing arm strength recorded up to 73 mph across the infield. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and simple mechanics to the swing. Low effort and easy trigger to start with a contact-oriented swing plane and approach. Medium hand set with a deeper load. Slight hitch in the back as a timing mechanism. Aggressive and battles at the plate by fouling off tough pitches. Good student.
