Jeremy Levine is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Gilbert, AZ who attends Campo Verde HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a young, projectable build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.35 60-yard dash. Primary righthanded pitcher, simple side step and turn into delivery, turns hips well and rotates on line with finish. Loose arm action through the back and works to a high three-quarters arm slot, creates angle on fastball that topped 83 mph and showed comfort in locating to glove side with intent. Fastball mostly true in life with occasional run to the arm side, worked spots and maintained velocity, varied velocity on breaking ball, all showed tight rotation and late bite in upper velocity band. Similar loose arm in the infield, comes out of the hand cleanly and can throw accurately from multiple slots, fields the ball out front, range going up the middle. Righthanded hitter, begins with an open stance and high hand set and back elbow in the box, employs a leg lift trigger for timing. Pull hands back at start of swing, gets closed with weight shift, ball comes off the barrel well when squared and timed up, can work to all fields and looks to lift at the point of contact. Named to Underclass West Top Prospect List. Very good student.
