Grant Van Winkle is a 2020 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Granville, OH who attends Granville HS. Medium frame with solid present build; good strength throughout. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.70 seconds. Sets up to hit from upright stance with high back elbow, shifts well into contact in lower half, stays balanced throughout swing. Shows good loft to swing plane, capable of driving the ball into the air when on time, good strength off the barrel at times with ability to work to all fields. Shows clean hands in the infield with deeper funnel out front, shows good actions to both sides with solid range, solid footwork with athleticism throughout, arm clocked up to 79 mph across the diamond. Also worked in outfield; fluidity to actions moving in on the ball, fields cleanly and shows quick release, good accuracy to targets, clocked up to 77 mph. Very good student.
