Alex Bailey is a 2017 OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Bend, OR who attends Summit HS. Compact strong athletic build. Left handed hitter, confident approach at the plate, aggressive hitter who looks to hit the ball hard, pull approach, tends to get open in his mechanics and hit around the ball, has good present bat speed and the ball comes off the barrel hard when he waits back, like the aggression and the strength in his swing. 7.59 runner, has balanced athletic actions through the ball on defense with good direction thru his throws, long and loose arm action with developing arm strength. Bat is his tool. Very good student.
