Tyler Griggs is a 2019 3B/2B with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Fairport, NY who attends McQuaid Jesuit High School. Younger player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.48 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary third basemen, active footwork into actions and good momentum through throws. Arm strength up to 77 mph with softer hands and good accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, started with an spread stance, slightly open base, high back elbow, and slight crouch. Looks to lift the ball with strength through contact. Pull side approach and stays inside the ball well. Gets extended at times with raw ability to find the barrel. Good student.
