Eduardo Vega is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Toa Baja, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. Big well-balanced leg lift delivery, gets his back turned well and controls his move towards home plate, arm is loose and easy coming through. Steady upper 70's fastball, works to spots well with his fastball and especially glove side to right handed hitters, has some sinking and running life to his fastball. Good curveball spin with some depth to the pitch, has feel for locating his curveball as well and picked up a number of strikeouts with the pitch, strong overall performance. Should continue to improve as he gets stronger.
